Budget Provision:
The requirement for an open tender process instead of calling off an existing framework is
likely to incur greater legal and procurement costs than originally anticipated. However,
these costs will be covered by the initial funding allocation already secured.
Any contract will require on going management and the proposed length of the contract will
be assessed to ensure this is acceptable to the Council. Furthermore, the ongoing revenue
funding for the project will need to be reviewed and confirmed before the final project
approval is provided.
