Reduce the length of the double yellow lines around Bottisham Triangle.
The new double yellow lines extend in excess of the Highway Code restriction of no parking within 10m of a junction. We don't
agree that vehicles parked in those locations on Tunbridge Lane (beyond the 10m distance) are causing a danger or an obstruction,
and we are concerned that vehicles that would normally park in these locations will park elsewhere, which could cause a greater
danger and/or obstruction that the new restrictions are designed to avoid.
One such obstruction, which is already reasonably frequent, is across resident driveways and around the border of the triangle.
As there are no restrictions on the interior sides of the triangle, opposite the new double yellow lines, people will park there and likely
cause damage to the grassed area on the triangle as vehicles park and drivers/passengers exit - spoiling an area that so much
effort has gone into over the past year.
