Pavement and cycleway potholes
- 1Provide residents with a full explanation about how their potholes are prioritised and regular public reports on pothole repair activity, analysed by whether the pothole relates to pavement/footpath, cyclepath/bridleway and road.
- 2Debate those priorities in open meeting and consider whether they should attach greater importance to pavement, cycleway, bridleway and footpath potholes. Residents feel that a potentially life changing fall should be prioritised over a ruined tyre.
- 3Resident groups, residents and stakeholders would like to submit examples of the adverse impact of such falls, both for themselves and upon the public purse to inform this debate before the 5 March debate.
- 4For the avoidance of doubt, residents still want road potholes fixed . We want the other potholes to be fixed too.
- 5Residents want to see a commitment to getting the gritting maps updated by next Autumn, a further call for gritting volunteers and an undertaking that the new Chisholm trail and greenways will be covered .
