Erect Duck Warning Signage on Soham High Street and Brook Street
We, the undersigned, as residents of or local visitors to the town of Soham, call on Cambridgeshire County Council to acknowledge the increase in motor vehicles which hit ducks and other local water birds on the roads of the town.
Following this acknowledgement, we petition the County Council to erect four standard triangular warning signs depicting a duck image (Duck Warning Signs) as part of its next Highway Capital Maintenance Programme for East Cambridgeshire, this requirement being too minor for an LHI bid in its own right but too important to cast aside.
We petition for two such signs to be erected on either side of the High Street, opposite the junction with Brook Dam Lane, and two such signs to be erected on either side of Brook Street, near the duck pond.
