agree to the Local Highways Improvement Scheme for Cambourne as supported by Cambourne Town Council and local residents.

This will see single yellow (time restricted) parking lines put on Swansley Lane for the safety of students attending Cambourne Village College and Hardwick & Cambourne Community Priary School, and  Priory Walk for the safety of children attending Monkfield Primary School. In both locations poor parking blocks the road both before school and after school creating danger for children. The parking on Swansley Lane causes difficulties for residents as it blocks access to their homes.

The creation of controlled parking zones during specific times at the start and end of the schools’ days will help to resolve these problems.
